Your Mac,
but lighter.
MacMyFlo is the Mac cleaner from a small team that hated Mac cleaners. FloScan finds the junk, you approve every sweep, one license costs $29 — once — and there's a human at the other end of the contact page.
We measured the mess before writing a line of code.
macOS hides the dirt beautifully — purgeable space, invisible caches, backups of phones you no longer own. You only meet it later: a beach ball, a stalled export, an update that won't fit. So before building MacMyFlo, we audited a hundred Macs and wrote down everything that fell out.
Across the Macs we audited, the average invisible junk after three years of ordinary use. None of it was visible in Finder.
The most junk we found on one machine — a 2017 MacBook Pro whose owner swore it "never had a problem."
From launching MacMyFlo to a finished, reviewed first sweep. Speed was a design requirement, not a marketing line.
Same desktop. One sweep apart.
One FloScan, one review pass, one click — on the actual desktop of our test bench Mac. Grab the handle and drag.
macOS needs room to keep working smoothly. Delete some files to free up space.
OUR BENCH MAC · 128 GB SSD · DRAG, OR USE ARROW KEYS ON THE HANDLE
Five tools. Zero guesswork.
Every part of MacMyFlo follows one rule: show you what it found, explain why it's junk, and wait for your yes.
One button runs the full pass: junk, potential threats, and startup drag — everything laid out for review before anything moves. On our benchmark Mac it surfaces 16.5 GB in 38 seconds, and never deletes a file you didn't see first.
An interactive, zoomable map of your disk, built in about three seconds, folder by folder — so you finally see what's actually eating the space. Big offenders get flagged before you've even stopped scrolling.
Caches, logs, broken downloads, Xcode leftovers, language files you'll never use — Junk Sweep knows 38 categories of macOS cruft by name and what's safe to remove on your exact macOS version. The boring, valuable work, done properly.
Finds exact duplicates and visually similar shots, helps you keep the best frame, and sweeps the rest. On a 40,000-photo test library it coughed up over a thousand redundant shots — that's real SSD money back.
A malware check that doesn't cry wolf — we planted 14 fake threats during testing; all caught, zero missed, zero false alarms. It also scrubs browser traces and shows which apps quietly hold camera, mic, or location access.
MacMyFlo vs. the alternatives.
You're going to compare us to CleanMyMac anyway — so here it is, in daylight, including where they win.
AS OF SPRING 2025 — CLEANMYMAC IS A SOLID PRODUCT MADE BY MACPAW; WE LIST IT BECAUSE YOU'D ASK. SPECS CHANGE; THE LIVE DEMO DOESN'T LIE.
Cleaners charge $40 a year, forever, to delete files you can't see.
We think that's backwards. MacMyFlo Pro is $29 once — updates included for the life of your Mac, no auto-renewals, no "your subscription expired" emails. If you ever want a second opinion, the demo is free and the human is too.
THE MACMYFLO LAB — WHERE EVERY "SAFE TO DELETE" RULE IS EARNED THE HARD WAY.
"I've paid for three Mac cleaners in my life. This is the first one that feels like it's on my side — and the first one I won't be paying for a second time."
The things people actually ask.
Deleting the wrong file is the one unforgivable sin for a cleaner, so we built the Safety Rules engine first: MacMyFlo only removes files matching rules verified per macOS version, everything is shown for review before deletion, and the app is sandboxed and notarized. During beta we planted "landmine" files that look like junk but aren't — zero casualties so far, and we keep replanting them.
CleanMyMac (by MacPaw) is the household name — polished and safe, and subscription-first at roughly $40 a year. We built MacMyFlo for people who'd rather pay once: $29 total, updates for the life of your Mac, and support that answers as a person, usually within 48 hours. Run our demo, run their trial, keep whoever feels right. There's a full comparison table a scroll up.
Yes — a 14-day trial with every feature unlocked and no card required. After that, FloLite keeps scanning and cleaning 500 MB a day, free, forever. And the browser demo on this site never costs anything but four minutes.
MacMyFlo 2.1 requires macOS 10.15 or newer, and ships as a universal binary — from a 2013 MacBook Air to the latest M-series machines. If your Mac struggles for hardware reasons, no cleaner can help, and we'll say so if you ask.
It runs the full FloScan flow on a virtual disk inside the page. Nothing installs, nothing scans your real Mac, nothing leaves your browser — same interface, same review-first steps, zero risk. It's the honest way to kick the tires.
Yes, and we'd like that — use the contact page (48-hour replies, from a person), or book a 15-minute guided demo and we'll run MacMyFlo on your actual fleet while you watch.
A full Mac can't flo.
Four minutes in the browser demo, one sweep with the real thing. No card, no subscription, no drama.
Try the live demoDon't take our word for it. Take the demo.
The whole FloScan experience, running on a virtual 128 GB MacBook Pro inside this page. Nothing installs, nothing scans your real disk, nothing leaves your browser — it just behaves like the real thing, including the part where you approve every sweep.
This demo scans a virtual disk, not your Mac.
Every number is scripted — the flow is the product.
1,175 files swept · 0 false deletions · virtual disk now spotless
Talk to a human.
Demos, team pricing, support, or just a "my Mac is full, help" — we read everything, and a person answers. No ticket numbers, no chatbot maze.

Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED · JANUARY 5, 2025MacMyFlo ("we", "us") makes Mac cleaning software and publishes this website. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use the MacMyFlo app and macmyflo.com.
01Overview
We built MacMyFlo to need as little of your data as possible. The app does its work on your Mac; the site doesn't require an account; and we don't sell personal information, ever. This is the complete picture.
02Information we collect
If you request an invite or contact us, we receive the details you provide (name, email, message, macOS version) and use them only to respond and deliver your invite.
Like nearly all websites, our hosting records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and error diagnosis. These logs are not used to profile you.
03App telemetry
The MacMyFlo app can send anonymous crash reports and aggregate usage counters (for example, how often FloScan runs) so we can fix bugs. Telemetry never includes file names, folder contents, or anything that could identify you or your data. It can be switched off entirely in the app's preferences — the cleaner works identically with it off.
04Cookies & analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, anonymized analytics to understand which features are helpful. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot reasonably identify an individual visitor.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the site continues to work normally.
05Advertising
We may display advertising served by third-party vendors, including Google. Where applicable:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
06Payments & third parties
Licenses are sold through a payment reseller. Card details go directly to the reseller — we never see or store them. We receive your name, email, and the license purchased, which is the minimum needed to deliver the license key.
07Data retention & security
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry, then deleted. We use standard technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we hold, and we deliberately collect little so there's little to protect.
08Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we hold almost nothing, exercising these rights is easy: email us and we'll comply promptly.
09Children
MacMyFlo is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
10Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site and app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
11Contact
Questions about this policy or your data? Use our contact page or write to hello@macmyflo.com.
Terms of Use
LAST UPDATED · JANUARY 5, 2025The short version: MacMyFlo is our software; one license covers your Macs as described below; don't resell or reverse-engineer it; and cleaning software is a broom, not a time machine — always keep backups.
01Acceptance of terms
By using macmyflo.com or the MacMyFlo app you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part, please stop using them — no hard feelings.
02The software licence
MacMyFlo Pro licenses one Mac; the Family pack licenses up to five Macs in one household. You may move a license to a replacement Mac. You may not:
- resell, sublicense, or share license keys publicly;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app;
- use the app to build a competing cleaning product.
Updates are included for the life of your licensed Mac(s), and there is no automatic renewal — because there is nothing to renew.
03Website use
Our content is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. You may not republish full pages, scrape the site at scale, or use its content to train commercial machine-learning systems without written permission.
04Refunds
If MacMyFlo doesn't work for you, write to us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund — no forms, no interrogation. We'd rather lose a sale than keep an unhappy customer.
05Trademarks
MacMyFlo and the MacMyFlo mark belong to us. "CleanMyMac" is a trademark of MacPaw Inc., and "Apple", "Mac" and "macOS" are trademarks of Apple Inc. We reference these marks solely for factual, comparative description; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MacPaw or Apple.
06Third-party links
We link to third-party websites for reference and convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability, pricing, or practices.
07No warranty
The app and site are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. MacMyFlo is designed to delete only provably safe files, but no software is perfect: always maintain backups (yes, we're a cleaning company telling you to keep junk — backups specifically).
08Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MacMyFlo and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from use of the site or app — including anything that happens to your files, disk, or dignity while cleaning your Mac.
09Changes
We may revise these terms at any time, with the effective date noted above. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the current version.
10Contact
For any questions about these terms, use our contact page or write to hello@macmyflo.com.
